MILITARY IRP RELOCATION
Canadian Forces Base Borden (CFB Borden) is located approximately 100 km North of Toronto, in the heart of Simcoe County, one of the major tourist areas in Ontario. CFB Borden is ideally located to service personnel from all across Canada. The base is a major economic entity in Simcoe County, and enjoys excellent relations with the surrounding local communities.
CFB Borden is home to the largest training wing in the Canadian Forces. The base is run by Canadian Forces Support Training Group (CFSTG) and reports to the Canadian Defence Academy (CDA) in Kingston.
